After visiting their shop in Plantsville, I made my mind up almost immediately. Simply speaking with Ms. Amber was a total unexpected joy... which is where my experience with them began. Hailey, CJ, and Mr. Sam was equally as nice. All of them combined, makes for one very unbeatable team. Watching them in action setting up the table in my basement was in itself a privilege, as well as something to behold. Always being on the same page with every detail of the set up. Extremely knowledgeable with not only the table, but with each other and the way each individual works. Again, unbeatable team, very nice, professionals who are truly down to earth. What a great experience! We were originally looking to get a table moved, but ended up buying a table from them. Their prices are external reasonable with professional installation , re felting! The staff was friendly, professional and very thorough. They made sure I was pleased through the whole process. A's pool table service is a great family business. I recently had them perform a pool table relocation after I purchased it. This included taking it apart moving and putting back together on site with new felt cover rails included 8ft table. The three of them worked as a polished professional team. Their service was prompt courteous and professional. The leveling and 3 piece slate setting and seaming is flawless. I can't say enough great things about the service they provided. If in need of anything pool table related do not hesitate to hire this professional team. Their work is fantastic and at a very reasonable cost for what they do. A’s Pool Table took apart my brothers pool table and reassembled it at my house and installed new felt. It came out great, I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. I never leave a review but what Sam did for me was remarkable. I was trying to put together an old pool table and I was totally confused. At his request I sent a few pictures and he was able to help me assemble the frame. I bet we spent 45 minutes on the phone. Through pictures he was able to help me and explain what bolts to use how many I should have and where to use them. I can't tell you how good it felt to talk to someone that was so knowledgeable. He was like talking to a friend.

I had terrific experience with this family-run business. Got introduced to them through Servpro, when we had water damage in our basement. They were quick to come out for the dismantling of the table so the restoration could be done, and then I had them do new felt and bumpers when they came back to reassemble. They did a beautiful job and we are very satisfied. Great team and always on time!

We were extremely pleased with the EXCELLENT service provided to us by Hayley and Sam! Our installation was a very difficult one with a tight squeeze into the basement and they were able to disassemble the frame and get the table set up perfectly. They marked each piece, leveled the table before the slate went on and after, filled every crack and screw hole with wax, professionally smoothed out the felt….every detail was attended to!! On time and professional!! This is most certainly the company to hire - they absolutely know what they are doing!

I was in contact with A’s pool table service to see if they had a particular table or knew where I might find one. We made a connection and I fell in love quickly when I saw this beautiful American Heritage table that fit my needs. What really exceeded my expectations was when Sam and CJ came to my home to deliver and set up this table. With precision and care of a brain surgeon, the table was assembled piece by piece. Each one of the 3, one inch slates were laser leveled and squared. The new felt was applied in the most proper way and this table plays amazing!! I have a new found respect for the craftsmanship, knowledge and experience that comes from the A’s crew. If you want it done correctly the first time, make sure you get A’s to work with you on your billiards table.

Awesome company! I needed my pool table moved and I tried calling several different companies and got the runaround. A’s Pool Table Sales and Service took my call and booked me right on the spot. The day of the move Hailey, Sam, and Christopher showed up on time, went over the scope, and got to work. It was clear to me they worked together a lot because they were a well oiled machine. They disassembled the table, loaded it, and moved it to my new location and reassembled it. I was curious about how pool tables went together and Sam and Hailey were very good at educating me all while keeping the project moving along. This is a phenomenal family business that I highly recommend!

Working with Sam and Amber was a turn key experience. We love the table we bought from them. Their workmanship was the best. Don't listen to anyone telling you to do it yourself! The detail around smooth seams and leveling the table on an uneven floor is not easy and should be done by a professional. They spent a lot of time leveling each piece. Then adding the wax to fill the seams and holes to make the table so smooth. It was a process that I would not have wanted to try on my own. The table is perfectly level and we love it! They are honest, professional and I would highly recommend A's.

I don’t normally write reviews but in this case I had to. Ever since I started playing pool in high school, it was in the back of my mind to have a pool table in my home . . . some day. After a divorce, I wasn’t using my big dining room table very much and thought the space could better be filled with my high school dream. I randomly chose A’s Pool Tables while browsing the Internet not realizing that I had found the BEST on my first try. I spoke with Amber on the phone and met Hailey at the show room who showed me a beautiful 1911 Brunswick antique pool table. Just talking with the family made me realize that they were the pool table experts. Sam lives and breathes pool tables and knows everything. You can’t go wrong when Sam, Amber and Hailey are part of your team. They deliver everything promised . . . and even more. ‘Even fixed a spot on my floor under the pool table during the installation. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They are the old-fashioned American family that cares about their customer and delivers a quality product at a fair price. These folks are awesome, went over and above to move the table and make it look and work like new in time for my birthday party. Total professionals, easy to work with and really nice. I’m so glad I found A’s Pool Tables! I needed to move a used pool table, and not only did I get a real person when I called, they were happy to talk me through the whole process, including details I didn’t realize I needed to know. I went from traditional green to khaki felt - wow, for me, great change, and made it look like a brand new table. They also suggested a different layout for the table, which was a much better choice. This team was awesome! I had just inquired on 4/26/21 about a table and decided on 4/28 to get it....and they delivered and assembled it the next day! I lucked out that they were somewhat in the area. They were friendly and efficient and even my dog Atlas (a 110lb Cane Corso) who doesn't like strangers, was calm and intrigued (of course they had some treats for him to calm his nerves!) What a find. Needed table resurfaced. One email later I heard from Amber and was able to select color and schedule the service.. Sam and his daughter and helper showed up on time (early) on as Sunday no less and do an impeccable job. Explained everything and did repairs that we didn’t even know were needed. They even let Roscoe the dog help. The table is 125 years old and now performs the way in was intended. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs service!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I was interested in buying a used pool table and called A's at 7:00 PM hoping to leave a message about moving cost. Amber answered and was beyond helpful. Gave me things to look for, etc. At the end of the conversation she mentioned they had a pool table for sale. After we talked for a bit, I purchased the table. Her husband and daughter came and they were the best. Recommended where it goes, gave us pointers on how to take care of it, wore masks, socially distanced and were just a pleasure to be around. Their customer service was TOP NOTCH. If you need anything pool table related, and I mean anything, this is the place to go. Look no further than A's. Again thanks for everything and my family looks forward to years of playing time on this table.

When I bought my home there was a slate pool table in the basement, great for the kids at the time. They have since moved out and I am in the process of selling my place and the buyers do not want the pool table. I contacted A's, spoke with Amber telling her I just wanted it removed. She got back to me a little later and said they would be here the next day. They arrived on time (crew of 3), and had it removed in 45 minutes or less and it did not cost me anything. All were extremely courteous respectful of masks and social distancing and very conscientious about keeping the front door shut behind them due to the AC being on. Would highly recommend them!!!

We stumbled upon this place while shopping for reclaimed wood in Watertown. We were faintly interested in potentially buying a pool table. We did not want to spend a lot of money but wanted a high end feel. Since those two requirements don’t typically go together, we did not expect it to work out.When we went inside the showroom (by appointment), we were greeted by the nicest of owners (Amber). She could probably tell we were inexperienced at purchasing pool tables and spent most of her time educating us. By the end of our first visit, we felt informed and did not have any sense of a hard sell. In fact, it was in incredibly enjoyable shopping experience. Over the following days, After a lot of text messages and viewing pictures of various tables they had, we scheduled a second visit to view the tables more closely. We loved what we saw, selected a table and scheduled a delivery. Communication was excellent and they came, set up the the large and heavy slate table... very professional yet friendly as well. We are thrilled with our purchase and highly recommend this great family business.

I really enjoyed being able to sit down and talk with the owner. He gave me some ideas about moving farther with my business and he also gave me a good quote on my table being refinished. I would definitely recommend to my friends

I had a 10:00 am appointment and they were there at 9:30 am. Amber Sam, and his daughter and another gentlemen worked so well together well family company and very professional. Sam and his daughter were great! They showed up on time and cleaned up afterwords. Our pool table looks brand new again. They were easy to work with and would use them again!!!

We recently used A's Pool Tables to disassemble and reassemble our pool table while we were doing renovations to our home. They were so great to work with. So fortunate to have found Amber and Sam. Spent a long time doing research on pool tables, and decided that we wanted to go antique. Our first trip to A’s, my wife spotted a gorgeous Mission style 9 foot table Sam and Amber had just recently bought back from a customer they sold it to 20 years ago. Built in Hartford over 100 years ago. Done. They were great to work with, and on installation day very professional. If you are in the market for a table, you would do well to visit Sam and Amber.

They came and recovered our 9 foot pool table in just under 2 hours. The table looks like new!! Their commitment to their work shows in all the details. They rewaxed the slate seams, tightened the pocket panels and leveled the table! I highly recommend this friendly family business!

Exceptional professional customer service! We couldn't be happier with our new pool table. From speaking with Amber on the phone multiple times to meeting with Sam to look at tables in their showroom, they made the process very pleasant. The installation was completed quickly with Sam and two others helping him. They did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them. Sam's 44 years of experience is evident in his work! Great experience with A's getting my pool table setup and ready to play on! They did an amazing job on the table and were wonderful to talk with during the process, even telling me a bit about the history of the company that made the table which was awesome.
